Liver cake is made from offal and what is available in almost every kitchen, but it turns out to be very tasty.

Although this recipe is very common in Ukraine, not everyone knows all the secrets of cooking this dish. The Momsdish.com resource shared a recipe for liver cake and clarified that the dish is typical for Eastern Europe.

The following ingredients are needed for the preparation:

  • 750 g of beef or chicken liver;
  • 1 egg;
  • 130 g of sour cream;
  • 120 g of flour;
  • Salt / pepper - to taste;
  • 200 g of mayonnaise;
  • 5 cloves of garlic;
  • Vegetable oil for frying;
  • A bunch of dill.

Preparation:

1. Wash the liver, grind it all in a blender.

2. Add sour cream, flour, egg, salt and pepper, continue to mix the mass.

3. Heat a frying pan, grease it with vegetable oil and pour the liver mixture as if it were pancakes. Fry the whole mass in this way.

4. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, herbs and garlic.

5. Start making the cake from the cakes, spreading each with the sauce and stacking them in a column.

6. Garnish the dish with a sprig of dill and the rest of the white paste.
