Legendary plum pie that everyone can make: Lidiia Taran's recipe

Popular TV presenter Lidiia Taran shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious, juicy, and legendary plum pie from the New York Times that anyone can make.
Ingredients:
- sugar – 250 g
- butter – 113 g
- eggs – 2 pcs
- baking powder – 1 tsp
- cinnamon – 1 tsp
- plums – 12-15 pcs
- salt – a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. For the dusting: mix 50 g of sugar with cinnamon.
2. Beat 200 g of sugar with butter, add eggs and salt, then flour and baking powder.
3. Mix everything with a spatula to make the dough homogeneous.
4. Cover the mold with parchment, grease with oil, and pour the dough.
5. Put the plum halves on the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
6. Put the finished cake in the oven for 40-45 minutes at 180°C.
The TV presenter noted that she would add less sugar and cinnamon to this dessert than in the classic recipe.
