Homemade khachapuri can be cooked both in the oven and in a frying pan. It is very important to make a good dough, and to make the khachapuri tender, add a lot of cheese.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious, lazy khachapuri, which is cooked with lots of cheese and in a frying pan.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- Sour cream (or Greek yogurt, or kefir, or matzoh) - 200 g
- Flour - 200-250 g (it may take a little more)
- Soda - a little less than half a teaspoon
- Salt.
For the filling:
- Suluguni cheese - 450 g
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough: just mix everything. If necessary, add a little more flour, but do not take too much, the dough should be soft and elastic.
2. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
3. Divide the dough into two parts, roll each one out, dusting it with a little flour. Only a little, because the flour will burn in the pan. Put the cheese, make sure it doesn't get on the edges of the dough, fold and pinch the edges, then roll it out a little.
4. Fry in a frying pan without oil over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Brush the finished khachapuri with butter and serve hot!
