Juicy and soft homemade ham: the recipe for the most successful marinade
Homemade ham is a delicious meat appetizer that can be boiled, baked and smoked. If you want your future ham to be juicy, tender and soft, the best way to cook it is to boil the meat with a marinade.
Food blogger Oksana Dorosh (oksana_dorosh_rezeptu) shared a recipe for homemade boiled ham on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- meat - 1 kg
- water - 2 liters
- vinegar - 7 tbsp. l
- salt - 100 g
- Bay leaves - 4 pcs
- black peppercorns - 6 pcs
- allspice - 5 pcs
- cloves - 3 pcs
- garlic - 1 head
Method of preparation:
1. Pour water into a saucepan and add all the spices. Cook the marinade.
2. Meanwhile, divide the meat into 2 hams, tie it tightly with a thread and put it into the boiling marinade. Cook for 1 hour.
3. When the meat is cooked, leave it to cool in the marinade.
4. Then take out the ham, wrap it in cling film and leave it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
