Ingredients:
- chicken - 1.6 kg
- onion - 2 pcs.
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- celery - 2 sticks
- garlic - 4 cloves.
- olive oil - 2-3 tbsp.
- lemon - 1 pc.
- 1 small bundle of fresh thyme, rosemary, bay leaf or sage
- sea salt, ground black pepper - to taste
- ground black pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
- The first thing to do is to wash, peel and chop the vegetables well, add chopped garlic, olive oil, mix everything well and place in a mold.
- Wash the chicken, rub it with spices and salt, pour olive oil, put lemon and herbs inside, then lay it on the vegetables and put it in the oven for 1.5 hours at 200 ° C.
- After 45 minutes you can add a little water to the vegetables so that they are not dry and further bake.
- After the time is up, turn off the oven and let the chicken stand for another 15 minutes, then - you can take it out and serve.
It is best to serve the fragrant chicken with the same vegetables with which it was stewed, you can also make any sauce to your taste.
