Ingredients:
- zucchini flowers - 12-15 pcs
- mozzarella cheese - 150 g
- oil - 1-3 tbsp
For the batter:
- water - 200 ml
- flour - 100 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- white wine - 5 tbsp
- olive oil - 2 tbsp
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
- Wash the flowers thoroughly and dry them.
- For the batter, mix the flour with salt, add the egg yolk, wine, and olive oil, mix, then add warm water, mix again to make it the consistency of thick sour cream and leave for 30 minutes.
- Cut the mozzarella into thin strips and stuff the flowers with it.
- Beat the egg whites with salt, add the mixture to the batter, and mix.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
- Dip the flowers in the batter and fry until tender. Put them on a paper towel to drain the excess fat.
2. Crispy
Ingredients:
- flowers - 20 pcs
- eggs - 1 pc
- water - 1 tbsp
- olive oil - 300 ml
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
- Wash and dry the zucchini flowers.
- Heat the oil well in a deep saucepan.
- Beat the egg with water and salt, dip the flowers in it and then in flour, and fry well.
- Put them on paper towels to drain the excess fat.
