How to prepare tasty bulgur with mushrooms and vegetables: recipe for a hearty lunch
Bulgur is an extremely tasty porridge and a versatile side dish. You don't need a large set of ingredients to make it delicious. You can make it with mushrooms or vegetables that you have at home, and you will get a hearty and nutritious dish.
Food blogger Zhanna (zha457) shared a recipe for bulgur with mushrooms and vegetables on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- bulgur - 1.5 tbsp
- butter - 50 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- pepper - 1 pc.
- water - 3 tbsp
- spices - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add bulgur. Lightly fry the porridge for about 5 minutes.
2. Pour water and cook bulgur under the lid.
3. Meanwhile, fry the mushrooms with onion and pepper in a separate pan. Season with salt.
4. Add the vegetables and mushrooms to the bulgur. Add spices. Cook under the lid for 10 minutes.
5. Turn off the heat and let the porridge stand for another 10-15 minutes.
