How to make juicy cold boiled turkey: main rules

Typically, cold boiled meat is made with pork because it is fatty and very satisfying. However, this dish cannot be called dietary. Therefore, for those who follow a healthy diet, turkey fillet is ideal. If you combine the right ingredients and follow a special cooking technique, you will get a very tasty and juicy dish.

The idea of cooking cold boiled turkey was published on the Instagram page of the famous Ukrainian chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi.

Ingredients:

  • turkey fillet - 1 kg
  • carrot
  • garlic
  • mustard
  • olive oil
  • salt and spices for barbecue
  • leftover onions and celery
  • flavorful herbs and white wine if desired

Method of preparation:

1. Stuff the turkey fillet with long carrot slices and chopped garlic.

2. Add salt, pepper, mustard and spices.

3. Rub the meat well with this mixture and olive oil.

4. Leave in the refrigerator overnight.

5. Add salt (9 g per 1 kg of meat).

6. Add mustard, pepper and spices to taste.

7. Mix paprika, dry onions, garlic, and black and red peppers.

8. Take the meat out in the morning.

9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

10. Put the turkey in a small bowl with all the vegetables and add thyme.

11. Add a little wine for flavor.

12. Put everything in a baking sleeve and bake for 1 hour.

13. Then open the sleeve and continue baking at 240 degrees with top grill mode on for another 10-12 minutes for a golden brown crust.
