Anyone who has been on a diet has experienced firsthand how different diet food tastes from the junk food they love, and how the desire to break down and eat candy becomes stronger every day.

On her Instagram page, nutritionist Albina Komisarova shared amazing life hacks that will save you from gluttony and make diet food so delicious that you won't want to go back to junk food.

What the nutritionist advises to add to food:

Flavored oil

Adding a few drops of sesame oil to vegetables, rice, or poultry will make them sparkle with new colors. You can also make oil with herbs and garlic at home.

Rice, apple cider vinegar, or lemon juice

Especially tasty with fresh vegetables. It will add freshness to the dish!

Vinegar can be safely applied to vegetables

Soy sauce

In addition to salt, this product is fermented, which means it contains natural sodium glutamate, so a spoonful of soy sauce will also add flavor to familiar dishes.

Even a spoonful of soy sauce will bring a new flavor

Mirin

A sweet rice wine sauce. Here, it's more of a combination (soy sauce + mirin) – ruddy and tasty vegetables.

Honey or maple syrup

A great dressing for salads and baking chicken.

Honey will be the best dressing for chicken

Fresh and dried garlic

Perfect for meat, vegetables, and even soup. The powder mustn't have an unpleasant odor.

Garlic will add a special flavor

Miso paste

It is better to use white for sauces and red for marinades, as it is saltier.

Greens

Any herbs you like can be added to dishes or simply eaten: cilantro, green onions, dill, parsley.

Cilantro, dill, parsley can be safely added

Fragrant seasonings

Thyme, sage, rosemary, marjoram, oregano – this is not the whole list of seasonings that can be used, both fresh and dry.

Mustard

Combine it with honey, oil, and soy sauce to make a great salad dressing or marinade for chicken.

Seasonings can be added to the marinade
