How to make delicious cottage cheese puffs: quick pastries for tea
This is perhaps the ideal baking option, as it can be filled with anything: berries, jam, condensed milk, meat, vegetables, or mushrooms. But it is cottage cheese that remains the most favorite and popular in desserts. And it's very easy to make cottage cheese puffs, and if you don't have time to make homemade puff pastry, you can always use ready-made ones. Just 20 minutes and you'll be enjoying flavorful pastries at home.
The recipe for cottage cheese puffs was shared by food blogger Olha Pavlenko on her Instagram page (opium_foodie).
Ingredients:
- puff pastry
- cottage cheese – 300 g
- sugar – 60 g
- butter – 30 g
- egg yolk – 1 pc
- salt
- vanillin
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the cottage cheese in a blender until pasty.
2. Add salt, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk. Mix well.
3. Add the butter and mix until smooth.
4. Roll out the puff pastry. Cut into strips, then into squares. Make inner cuts near the corners of each square.
5. Put the filling in the middle and pin the corners to the center.
6. Brush the puffs with beaten egg yolk and milk. Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
