How to make cabbage salad even tastier: one ingredient will help
Cabbage salad is always very light, fresh, healthy and budget-friendly. It's ideal if you're care about your health and want to eat healthy. Cabbage itself is combined with all vegetables, but a special taste and flavor can be achieved by adding apples.
Food blogger Alina shared a recipe for a cabbage, carrot and apple salad on her YouTube channel Alina FooDee.
Ingredients:
- cabbage - 300 g
- carrot - 1 pc
- apple - 1 pc
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- sugar - 0.5 tsp
- green onions - a small bunch
- olive oil - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. First, chop the cabbage. Add salt and sugar. Mash with your hands to let the juice out.
2. Grate carrots on a grater.
3. Cut the apple into strips.
4. Chop the onion.
5. Mix all the vegetables in a bowl. Add lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well.
