How to dry tomatoes at home: an independent appetizer or an addition to any dish
Sun-dried tomatoes are a great independent snack or addition to a variety of dishes. They can be used for salads and toast. And you can easily prepare such an appetizer at home

Ingredients:
- tomatoes (it is better to take the cream of the field)
- dry Provencal or Italian herbs
- salt
- garlic
- thyme
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the tomatoes in half.
2. Season well with salt.
3. Add dry Italian or Provencal herbs and dry for at least 10 hours at 80 degrees.
4. Tomatoes should be well-dried to remove excess moisture, but they should remain soft. The main thing is not to overdry them.
5. Then put them in sterilized jars.
6. Add 1 chopped clove of garlic, two sprigs of thyme.
7. Pour in high-quality olive oil.
8. Then dip in boiling water.
9. Keep on low heat for exactly 15 minutes, close the lid.
