How to deliciously pickle cucumbers for the winter: a very simple and spicy marinade with ketchup
Cucumbers for the winter will be very crispy and juicy if you pickle them in a marinade with ketchup. The vegetables will have a spicy, rich flavor. In addition, they will not soften in the jar.

Ingredients for the marinade:
- water - 3 cups
- vinegar - 150 ml.
- sugar - 1 cup
- salt - 2 tbsp
- chili ketchup - 5-6 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the ingredients for the marinade.
2. Put on fire and boil for 2-3 minutes.
3. Rinse the cucumbers and cut off the tails.
4. Put the peeled garlic cloves, bay leaves, and peppercorns (to taste) on the bottom of the jar.
5. Put the cucumbers in a jar and pour the marinade over them.
6. Sterilize for 5-7 minutes (liter jars).
7. This portion of the marinade is designed for about 2 liter jars.
