How to cook a rich broth correctly so that it is transparent and low-fat: we share the technology
Chicken broth is a must-have in the diet during the fall season. The dish is quite nutritious and valuable for its properties. But it needs to be cooked correctly to make the taste rich and the meat soft and not dry.
The idea of making a clear and rich chicken broth was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria with the nickname viktoria cooking. This broth can be eaten without pasta, cereals, and potatoes.
Ingredients for three liters:
- chicken thighs - 500 g
- large onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- broth cubes - 2 pcs.
- parsley and dill - 2-3 sprigs
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the chicken thighs very well, and put them in a saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for another 4-5 minutes after boiling.
3. Remove the chicken thighs from the pan, drain the water, and add new water.
4. Put on minimum heat to cook again, add whole carrots and carrots cut into rings, large onions, garlic, a few sprigs of parsley, and dill.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste and 2 broth chicken cubes.
6. Stir everything well and cook until the meat and vegetables are tender, lightly covered with a lid (1-1.5 hours).
7. The main thing is to cook on low heat and not to increase it, because this will make the broth transparent and attractive.
8. When the broth is ready, remove the herbs, whole carrots and onions.
