In cold weather, it's better to drink mulled wine a little bit – hot wine quickly enters the bloodstream and can lead to rapid intoxication.

This drink has many healthy ingredients, but it is still alcohol. In case of an overdose, you can achieve alcohol intoxication and intoxication, just like from other drinks. This is also dangerous for health because mulled wine is consumed hot, which means that alcohol is absorbed twice as fast. Therefore, you should drink no more than one glass a day, and if you really need to warm up, it is better to choose tea or coffee.

Recipe for healthy mulled wine

Ingredients:

  • red semi-sweet wine - 0.5 liters
  • peppercorns - 4 pcs.
  • water - 100 ml
  • cloves - 7 buds
  • orange - 0.5 pcs.
  • nutmeg - 0.5 pcs.
  • cinnamon

Method of preparation:

1. Pour water over all the aromatic spices, pepper, and an orange cut into thin slices, bring to a boil.

2. Boil the mixture for three minutes, leave for 15 minutes under a closed lid. Pour wine into a deep container and heat over low heat.

3. When the liquid is hot enough, pour the mixture with all the spices into it. Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat.
