How long to soak the liver so that it is not bitter
To prevent the liver from being tough and bitter, it must be properly cooked. It is best to bake the product, and be sure to add butter for juiciness.

Ingredients:
- chicken or rabbit liver - 500 g
- carrots - 1 medium carrot
- shallots - 2 medium or 1 large red onion
- butter - 20 g
- olive oil - 10 ml
- green onions - 2 pcs
- garlic - 2 cloves
- salt - to taste
- spices: nutmeg, black pepper, thyme
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the liver in water for 20 minutes.
2. Wash, peel and place on a paper towel.
3. Peel and chop the carrots, garlic and onions.
4. Add oil, salt, and spices.
5. Stir and leave for 20 minutes.
6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (top/bottom or convection).
7. Put the liver on a baking sheet in a single layer.
8. You can hide the vegetables under the liver to prevent them from burning.
9. Put the pieces of butter on top of the liver.
10. Put in the oven for 12 minutes.
11. Turn the pieces over (you don't need to hide the vegetables anymore, let them bake too) and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
12. Remove from the oven and leave for 5-10 minutes.
