Homemade refreshing lemonade and tea according to Tetiana Litvinova's recipe

In the summer, especially on very hot days, everyone needs to drink plenty of water to, firstly, feel refreshed and well, and secondly, to prevent your body from experiencing stress from high temperatures. Seasonal berries and fruits can be used to make cooling and tasty drinks at home that will help you to tolerate the heat more easily, including homemade kvass, non-alcoholic mojitos, berry and citrus lemonades, and iced teas.

On her YouTube channel, Masters Chef judge and culinary expert Tetiana Litvinova shared 2 recipes for delicious summer drinks that will quench your thirst, quickly cheer you up, and are very well drunk by children (to watch the video, scroll to the end)

1. Iced tea

Ingredients:

  • water - 1 liter
  • good green tea - 2 tbsp.
  • honey - tbsp.
  • mint - 1 sprig
  • lemon - 1 pc.
  • nectarine, peach - 1 pc.
  • water - 200 g
  • ice - 20 cubes

Method of preparation:

  1. Boil water well, pour tea, cover the teapot with a lid, and let it brew.
  2. Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into a pitcher, add 200 grams of water at room temperature, honey, and chopped mint, mix everything thoroughly, and pour the cooled green tea in the same place.

Before serving, be sure to add ice and sliced peach or nectarine, they will create an even richer and more pleasant taste of the drink.

2. Homemade lemonade

Homemade lemonade with basil and citrus

Ingredients:

  • water - 1-2 liters
  • any basil - green or purple - 3-4 sprigs
  • honey - 1 tbsp.
  • lemon - 1 pc.

Method of preparation:

  1. Brew boiling water, take 150 g and pour it over the basil, let it brew for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add another 500 ml of water at room temperature, squeeze the juice of 1 lemon, add honey and ice, and mix everything thoroughly.

Add more lemon slices before serving.
