Breakfast is a very important meal, thanks to which the body receives the necessary energy boost for several hours. Therefore, experts recommend eating hearty and healthy foods in the morning, such as cottage cheese with berries or fruit, eggs of any kind, natural yogurt, and sandwiches with fish or meat, as well as cereals, vegetables, and greens.

Nutritionist Svitana Fus shared on Facebook a recipe for a delicious and, most importantly, hearty and healthy breakfast dish – oatmeal pie with apples and walnuts.

Pie recipe

Ingredients:

Pie ingredients
  • Banana - 3 pcs.
  • Apples - 1.5 pcs.
  • Oatmeal - 250 g
How to make a delicious apple pie at home
  • Walnuts - optional
  • Honey or stevia syrup - 2-3 tsp. optional

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the bananas into slices. ⠀

2. Cut the apples into slices, and finely chop the nuts.

3. Add honey and oatmeal and mix well with your hands to make everything smooth.

Cooking the Pie

4. Put the mixture in a silicone mold, and garnish with apples and nuts.

5. Put in the oven for 30 minutes at 200 °C.

Homemade Charlotte

You can eat the cake immediately hot, it will be very tasty with tea, coffee, and cocoa.
