Healthy Mimosa salad without mayonnaise: how to replace the usual product
Mimosa is a classic salad that is often prepared for the holidays in Ukraine. Despite the fact that the ingredients of this dish are mostly vegetables, it is very satisfying and high in calories. All this is due to the large amount of mayonnaise. But you can replace it with another, healthier dressing. It will be just as tasty.

Ingredients:
- potatoes
- sour cream
- onion
- fish
- eggs
Method of preparation:
1. Boil vegetables and eggs.
2. Mash the canned pink salmon with a fork.
3. Grate all ingredients on a fine grater.
4. Finely chop the red onion and pour balsamic or wine vinegar for 5-10 minutes, then drain.
5. Assemble the salad in layers, spreading with sour cream and salt in the following order:
- potatoes
- sour cream
- pickled onions
- fish
- sour cream
- carrot
- sour cream
- egg white
- sour cream
- egg yolk
- Garnish with dill or parsley on top.

Method of preparation:
1. Boil potatoes, carrots and eggs.
2. Grate everything on a fine grater.
3. Cut the apples into small cubes, and drain the juice from the tuna.
4. Put in a metal ring with a diameter of 16 cm in the following sequence:
1st layer - potatoes
2nd layer - tuna in its own juice (2 b)
3rd layer - mayonnaise
4th layer - carrots
5th layer - apples
6th layer - mayonnaise
7th layer - boiled eggs
8th layer - green onions
5. Sprinkle the layer with potatoes and eggs with salt and pepper.
