Cabbage comes to the rescue – budget-friendly, low-calorie, vitamin-packed and healthy. It can be used to make extremely light and at the same time super-healthy salads.

Ingredients:

  • cabbage - 1\2 pcs
  • carrots - 1 pc
  • onion - 1 pc
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • cream - 300 g
  • sour cream - 2 tbsp
  • salt, pepper, vegetable oil

Method of preparation:

1. Chop the vegetables – thinly chop the cabbage, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, and finely chop the onion and garlic.

2. Mix the cabbage and carrots and put to simmer over medium heat, add 100 g of water to the pan to prevent burning.

3. Fry the onion separately until golden brown in a little oil.

4. Add chopped garlic to the half-cooked cabbage and simmer for another 5 minutes.

5. Add cream and sour cream to the cabbage. Season with salt.

6. Cover and simmer over low heat for another 5-7 minutes.
