It is in the fall that you should cook pastries because there is a wide variety of vegetables for fillings to suit every taste. Pies are a good option, because they are easy to make and can feed a large family at once, and you can take them with you for a snack.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • kefir - 1 cup
  • vegetable oil - 3 tbsp
  • a pack of dry yeast
  • baking powder - 1 spoon
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 cups
Cooking pies with cabbage

Ingredients for the filling:

  • shredded cabbage - 400 g
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • onion - 2 pcs.
  • salt, pepper, rosemary.

Method of preparation:

  1. Mix kefir with vegetable oil, sugar, salt, and heat.
  2. Add flour mixed with yeast and baking powder, stir, and leave for 30 minutes, covered with a towel.
  3. Fry onions and carrots in a frying pan.
  4. Add cabbage, salt, pepper, rosemary.
  5. Simmer until the cabbage is soft for 20 minutes.
  6. Grind with a blender.
  7. When the dough has risen 2-3 times, make patties.
  8. Brush the top with egg, bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
Cooking pumpkin pies

Ingredients for the filling:

  • small pumpkin - 1 pc.
  • ground pepper - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - to taste
  • salt - to taste
  • oil - 2 tsp.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • pumpkin - 250 g
  • milk - 1 cup
  • butter - 50 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sugar - 2 tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • dry yeast -10 g
  • flour - 500 g

How to prepare the filling:

  1. Peel and grate the pumpkin on a fine grater.
  2. Put it in a bowl, add oil, pepper and salt.
  3. Mix everything.

How to make the dough:

  1. Peel the pumpkin from the skin and seeds.
  2. Cut into small pieces and boil.
  3. Drain the water and blend the pumpkin.
  4. Add all the ingredients except the oil to a large bowl and mix well.
  5. Cover with cling film and leave for 20 minutes at room temperature.
  6. Add the butter.
  7. Knead the dough well and leave it at room temperature for an hour.
  8. Divide into 15-20 pieces.
  9. Roll each part a little in flour.
  10. Roll out one piece, put the filling, and sprinkle with half a teaspoon of sugar on top.
  11. First, pinch the pie like a dumpling, and then form it into a ball.
  12. Use a thread to rewind the ball so that 6-8 parts are formed (it should look like a pumpkin)
  13. Leave the finished pumpkins for 10 minutes.
  14. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  15. Put parchment on a baking sheet, and grease with oil.
  16. Put the pies on the baking sheet.
  17. Pour a little milk into a bowl and brush each pie.
  18. Bake for 35 minutes.
  19. Take out of the oven and remove the threads.
