Elementary Napoleon that doesn't need to be baked: how to do without custard and dough

Napoleon cake is a dessert that has no seasonality. It is relevant at any time of the year. But among all the cooking options, the simplest one is most often chosen – the one that does not require baking. You can also choose a simple cream, which is made on the basis of starch and turns out to be very tender.

A simple idea for a Napoleon cake made from ears cookies was published on the Instagram page of Christy Petrash (kristy_cookery).

Ingredients:

• cookies "ears" - 450-500 g
• eggs - 1 pc.
• sugar - 150 g
• starch - 2 tbsp
• milk - 500 ml
• cream 33% - 300 ml
• strawberries for decoration (or any other fruit or berries)

Prepare the cream:

1. Grind the egg with sugar, and add starch.

2. Pour in the milk and cook over low heat until thickened.

3. Cool completely. Whip the cream and pour the cold cream into it, mix.

Assemble the cake:

1. Lay out the biscuits, break them where necessary, and brush them well with cream.

2. Put the cookies on top again.

3. Leave some decorating cookies to make crumbs and sprinkle them on the top and sides.

4. Leave for 5-6 hours, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
