Elderberry and cherry compote: you have never tasted this before
Tested.
Just think about it: you can drink flowers. I don't know about you, but I find it very exciting. And if you add cherries and cinnamon, then that's it, hide in the rye, because it's a blast. Elderberries can be dried, and cherries can be frozen. We don't have many principles here.
And now for the compote that will make your soul dance. (It's non-alcoholic, for the record).
Rinse 8-10 elderberry inflorescences (if you use dried ones, you don't need to).
Pour 400 g of frozen cherries with 2.5 liters of water, add 100-125 g of sugar, 1 tsp of cinnamon, and elderberry, and put on fire. When the compote boils, keep it on the fire for only 2 minutes and turn it off. Then leave it to cool and infuse. Drink cold, with a good piece of ice, and, if you like, mint.
As you can see, everything is simple. And that's it.
