Dessert with prunes stewed in wine: how to prepare a gourmet dish in a glass

Dessert with prunes and sour cream is a flavor that everyone has known since childhood. But today we bring to your attention a completely different, incredibly delicious variation of this dessert.

It is made with prunes stewed in red wine, which makes the dessert exquisite and gives it an interesting flavor. A food blogger with the nickname cook with me at home shared how to make this dessert on Instagram.

Ingredients

  • Red wine
  • Prunes - 400 gr
  • Nuts - 70 gr
  • Sugar - 60 gr
  • Sour cream - 600 g
  • Powdered sugar - 6 tbsp.

Method of preparation

1. Pour boiling water over the prunes, stir, drain, and pat dry with paper towels.

2. Lightly fry the nuts in a dry frying pan.

3. Fill each plum with chilled nuts.

4. Put the stuffed prunes in a jar, sprinkle with sugar.

5. Put the stuffed prunes in a saucepan, sprinkle with sugar and pour the wine so that it covers the prunes.

6. When it boils, turn down the heat and cook for at least 15 minutes. Cover and let cool completely. It is better to leave in the syrup overnight, so the flavor will be even more intense.

7. Prepare the cream. For the cream, add the powdered sugar to the fatty sour cream and mix until dissolved and smooth.

8. Put the cream and stuffed plums into the glasses alternately.

9. The top layer should be sour cream, which can be garnished with cocoa, grated chocolate or finely chopped nuts if desired. Let it stand for 20 minutes in the refrigerator and enjoy.
