Crispy Quick Pickles: Proportions for a 3-liter jar

Pickles - this is definitely one of the favorite snacks, which will easily complement both everyday and festive table. All you need is your favorite spices and herbs. And a special and spicy flavor of the dish is given by garlic and horseradish.

Food blogger Inna Kalancha (inna_kalancha) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for pickles in a jar.

Ingredients:

  • cucumbers
  • rock salt - 3 tbsp. l.
  • garlic - 4-5 cloves
  • horseradish root - 4-5 pcs.
  • dill florets - 2-3 pcs.
  • grape leaves
Small pickles per 3-liter jar
  • horseradish leaves - 2-3 pcs.
  • hot capsicum - 1 pc.

Method of preparation:

1. Pre-pour cucumbers with cold water and let stand for a few hours.

2. Cut garlic in half.

3. Chop the peppers.

4. Place horseradish leaves, dill, 3-5 garlic cloves, horseradish root, and a few slices of hot pepper in the bottom of the jar.

5. Fill the jar halfway with cucumbers.

6. Place a few garlic cloves, horseradish root, hot pepper on top.

7. Fill the jar to the end with cucumbers.

8. Top with the remaining garlic, horseradish, hot pepper. Cover with horseradish leaves, dill and grape leaves.

9. Separate salt in cold water in a 1-liter container. Stir until the salt is dissolved.

10. Pour the brine over the cucumbers. Leave for 2 days to salt. When they are ready, store in the refrigerator.
