Cooling sorbet with two ingredients
Watermelon sorbet
Sorbet is a delicious, absolutely dietary, summer dish that will perfectly cool you down on hot summer days. The dessert consists entirely of berries, juice, mint and various liqueurs, but it can also be made without alcohol, and is often served as a dessert and as an appetizer between main courses.
Today, FoodOboz editorial team has prepared for you 2 variants of a light and tasty sorbet, which you can prepare very simply and quickly.
1. Peach sorbet
Ingredients:
- peaches - 1 kg
- sugar - 1 cup
- water - 200 ml
- white wine - 0.5 ml
- mint - a few sprigs
How to prepare:
- Wash and peel the peaches, cut them into cubes. Put them together with water, sugar, and wine in a saucepan.
- Heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat, add mint, stir and cover for 1 hour.
- After the time has elapsed, stir until smooth and strain thoroughly through a sieve.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and place in the freezer for 1 hour.
- After an hour, take it out, stir and put it back in the freezer, do this 3-4 times and put it in the freezer for 8 hours.
2. Berry sorbet
Ingredients:
- any berries to your taste - 1 kg
- powdered sugar - 100 g
Method of preparation:
- Wash the berries, dry them, and blend them with powdered sugar in a blender until smooth.
- Transfer to a container and put in the freezer for 6-8 hours, taking out every hour and stirring thoroughly.
You can pour over chocolate before serving.
