Brushwood cookies will turn out golden and crispy: make them from vodka dough
Crispy fried brushwood cookies is a dessert of generations. Many housewives know that in order to make the dough golden and crispy after cooking, it should be made with vodka. In this case, you will not feel any characteristic bitterness that is inherent in such a liquid.
The idea of making crispy brushwood cookies from vodka dough was published on the Instagram page of the famous Ukrainian chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi (yaroslavskyi_vova). After frying, don't forget to sprinkle with powder.
Ingredients:
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of sugar
- homemade sour cream (35%) - 100 g
- vodka - 30 g
- flour - 270-330 g
- oil for frying - 500 g
- powdered sugar - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs with sour cream, sugar and salt.
2. Add vodka and knead a simple dough. It should not be too soft, but not too thick.
3. Let it stand in the cold for 30 minutes.
4. Roll out thinly. You can add flour as needed – watch the consistency of the dough.
5. Cut into diamonds.
6. Make a slit in the middle and pass one end through the slit.
7. Deep-fry the products.
8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
