If you love a variety of snacks but realize their harm to the body, you should try beetroot chips. This is a very healthy snack that you can make at home and treat your family to. They are crispy, spicy, and free of various chemicals.

A simple recipe for beetroot chips is published on the kuhnyatv_official Instagram page.

1. Preheat the oven to 140 degrees.

2. Mix spices to taste: ground garlic, salt, and rosemary.

3. Wash and peel the beets well.

4. Cut into thin slices of about 2-3 mm.

5. Put on a paper towel and leave for 15 minutes to dry slightly.

6. Brush each slice with olive oil and sprinkle with the spice mixture.

7. Cover a baking sheet with parchment and then place the beetroot slices on it.

8. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, turning the pieces every 10 minutes to ensure that they are evenly cooked.

You can also deliciously marinate the beets. You'll get an independent dish that will perfectly complement the festive table.

Ingredients:

  • beets - 600 g
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • parsley - 10 g
  • olive oil - 1-1.5 tbsp (for baking)

Ingredients for the marinade:

  • olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • honey - 1 tsp (25 g)
  • red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the beetroot, cut into slices with a base of about 1.5 cm or half rings 1 cm thick.

2. Cover a baking sheet with baking paper. Put the beetroot slices in a single layer tightly.

3. Drizzle with olive oil and bake at 200°C in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

4. Turn the slices over and bake for another 20-25 minutes until tender.

3. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Combine and mix the marinade thoroughly: 2 tbsp olive oil, honey, garlic, and vinegar. You can also choose black rice, balsamic, wine, or apple cider vinegar.

4. Finely chop the parsley. Put the hot beetroot slices on a plate. Add the parsley and marinade.

Mix well, add salt and ground black pepper.

5. The beets can be served in 15-30 minutes or cooled to room temperature, covered with cling film, and refrigerated for 12-24 hours for better flavor. ⠀
