Baked potatoes with mushrooms and herbs: how to cook correctly
Onions, mushrooms, spices, and oil are added to baked potatoes.
This oven dish is effortless to make, and the result will always please. Weightwatchers.com has published a recipe for cooking root vegetables at home. It should be noted that potatoes are a very healthy vegetable that contains potassium, phosphorus, zinc, and dietary fiber. And this is supported by the benefits of vitamins from fresh herbs. So, to repeat the recipe, we will need:
- 350 g of sliced potatoes;
- 300 g of chopped champignons;
- 120 grams of Crimean onions;
- 1 tbsp. of olive oil;
- a pinch of salt and pepper;
- rosemary/green onions/parsley – to taste.
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Cover a baking sheet with parchment, and meanwhile, mix the onions, potatoes, and mushrooms in a bowl, drizzle with vegetable oil, and add the herbs.
2. Place the mixture on the baking sheet and smooth it out, adding more oil and spices if necessary.
3. Bake the potatoes for 30-35 minutes. You can tell when the dish is ready by the golden brown crust of the root vegetable.
