There is simply no better time for a picnic than summer, as it is the season of vegetables that you can take with you and cook deliciously. You can also take completely different food – from barbecue to pies for different tastes.

1. Suluguni in pita bread on the grill

Ingredients:

  • pita bread - 3 sheets
  • Suluguni cheese - 300 g
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • dill, cilantro, parsley - 30 g each
  • sour cream - 1-2 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

  1. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  2. Chop the greens, cut the tomatoes into rings.
  3. Spread out the pita bread, spread with sour cream, put the cheese, herbs and tomatoes on top. Roll it up and put it on the grid to bake for about 1 minute.

2. Grilled mackerel

Ingredients:

  • Mackerel - 3 pcs.
  • Ginger - 1 tsp.
  • Basil - 2 tsp.
  • Lemon - 3 pcs.
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Gut the fish well, wash it, and dry it with a paper towel.
  2. Divide each into 2 parts, and remove the bones. Lubricate with salt and pepper inside and out. Add ginger and basil.
  3. Make cuts, you can insert lemon slices.
  4. Put the fish on the grill and bake until cooked.

3. Potatoes with bacon on the coals

Potatoes with bacon

Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 7-8 pcs.
  • lard - 400 g
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • garlic - 3-4 cloves.

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the potatoes, and leave the peel on.
  2. Cut into thick slices, cut the bacon into large pieces, season with salt and pepper and add garlic, mix.
  3. Put potatoes on a skewer, then bacon and potatoes again, then wrap in foil and bake.
