Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, because it determines your activity for several hours. It's best to eat hearty and healthy food in the morning, such as omelets, casseroles, cheesecakes, porridge, puddings, and sandwiches.
Nutritionist Olha Usenko shared on Instagram 10 options for delicious and, most importantly, healthy breakfasts that are suitable for everyone and are easy to prepare.
1. Protein options
- Omelette with cheese and vegetables (any variation of eggs is acceptable)
- Cheesecakes on the right flour
- Cottage cheese with fruit
Recipe for an omelet with cottage cheese and vegetables:
Ingredients:
- Eggs - 6 pcs.
- Tomato - 1 pc.
- Bell pepper - 100 g
- Processed cheese - 90 g
- Onion - 50 g
- Parsley - 10 g
- Hard cheese - 100 g
- Butter - 50 g
- Salt - to taste
- Ground black pepper - optional
Method of preparation:
- Cut the bell pepper into cubes, onions and tomatoes into half rings.
- Preheat a frying pan, add the butter, followed by the prepared onions and bell peppers.
- Beat the eggs into a deep bowl, having previously washed them thoroughly.
- Beat with a whisk and add spices to taste, mix thoroughly.
- Pour the egg mixture over the fried vegetables. You should get an even layer, almost completely covering the vegetables.
- Top with tomato slices and sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated cheese. Cook under a closed lid for 10-12 minutes.
2. Carbohydrate options
- Oatmeal with fruit and berries
- Buckwheat / quinoa / bulgur with vegetables
- Toast with avocado and vegetables
- Smoothies
Recipe for toast with avocado and eggs
ingredients:
- Bread - 4 slices
- Avocado - 2 pcs.
- Lemon - 1/2 pc.
- Eggs - 4 pcs.
- Mint - 2-3 leaves
- Sun-dried tomatoes - 30 g
- Salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
- Take out the avocado flesh, put it in a blender, add lemon juice, salt, pepper, and beat until smooth.
- Add the sun-dried tomatoes to the mixture, mix and spread on the bread.
- Poach the eggs and put them on top, add mint if desired.
3. Mixed
- Oatmeal with egg and cheese
- Toast with avocado and cheese / fish and egg
- Side dishes with egg / cheese / fish

- Oatmeal - 60 g
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Cottage cheese - 30 g

Method of preparation:

- Grate the cheese and add to the porridge.
