Experts note that potatoes should be planted at the beginning or end of the lunar phase. In addition, it is important that the satellite is in the earth or water signs of the zodiac.

Preparing the seed

It is very important to determine the favorable dates for planting potatoes, because you need to start preparing the seed about a month in advance.

First, you should sort through the tubers and leave only healthy, medium-sized fruits. Then put them in boxes in a single layer and transfer them to a warm, humid and bright room where the daytime temperature does not fall below 14-16 degrees and the nighttime temperature does not fall below 6 degrees.

When to plant potatoes

Experts advise waiting until the average daily temperature reaches 8-10 degrees and the soil warms up to 7 degrees.

Potatoes are planted on a lighted plot of land to a depth of at least 10-12 cm.

Sowing calendar for April, May and June 2024

If you have prepared the seed in advance, you will still have time to plant it on the favorable days of April, namely the 29th and 30th.

Favorable days in May: 3-4, 7, 11-13, 26-27, 30-31;

Favorable days in June: 3-4, 17-19, 22-23, 26-27.
