Sticky roller
A roller for cleaning clothes is one of the most convenient and effective solutions to this problem. Remove the lamp shade, shake off everything you can and place it in a convenient place. Next, remove the top layer from the roller and treat the shade with an adhesive surface from all sides. That's it. You can put the item back in place.
Masking tape
Masking tape works just like the roller: it collects dirt particles on its sticky surface. Take a strip, put it on the lampshade with the sticky side, and tear it off. A lot of dust will remain on the tape. Regular office or household tape is less suitable for cleaning a lampshade.
