White embroidered shirt and Kyivan Rus-inspired earrings: Zelenska shines in elegant look from a Ukrainian brand

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska recorded a video message to the internally displaced Ukrainians in Vilnius. She noted that Ukrainians have the opportunity to celebrate Independence Day in the unique cultural center "Ukrainian Heart of Lithuania" at Vytautas Magnus University.

The President's wife appeared in front of the camera wearing an embroidered shirt with a light openwork pattern. The ivory-colored shirt depicted an ornament inspired by elements of 20th-century Kosiv painted ceramic tiles and a 19th-century monastery towels monk's towel in the Kyiv region, VOGUE writes. Zelenska wore the piece by Ukrainian brand Gunia Project on last year's Vyshyvanka Day.

The first lady complemented the look with gold hryvna earrings. In the days of Kyivan Rus, this jewelry was a necklace in the shape of an open circle worn by men, according to the Gunia Project website. It was worn by warriors for their achievements.

Over time, the jewelry became an accessory for women. "The reinterpreted, twisted hryvna is transformed into gilded earrings. They can be worn in two ways: by twisting the clasp in front of or behind the ear," the post says. The price of the product is 7200 UAH.

Zelenska chose delicate nude makeup in brown and warm pink shades. You can see barely noticeable blush and lip gloss on her face. The First Lady pulled her hair up and made a side parting.
