The popular American singer Billie Eilish loves this makeup. Makeup artists have confirmed that eyeliner will play a key role in the fashion industry this year, reports Who What Wear.

"This year, I believe that eyeliner will take center stage," said professional makeup artist Sophia Escobedo. "In the colder months of the year, drawing the contour with a classic black or brown pencil will give fashion an avant-garde style of the 90s.

Experts clarified that the style differs from the "soft grunge" that has begun to gain popularity in recent months. Unlike the Olsen sisters' eye makeup, which is characterized by mascara and lots of glitter, this look puts dark eyeliner in the spotlight.

Makeup artists recommend not making a sharp and elongated arrow, but a small stroke with eyeliner, which will highlight the eyes.

Moreover, you shouldn't reduce everything to black or brown. Experts believe that gemstone tones, i.e. colored eyeliners: purple, green, and blue will be relevant. They will add individuality and freshness to the image.

According to makeup artists, this type of makeup is very convenient to wear during a long working day. If you need to go to a meeting in the evening, but don't have time to run home, you can use a cotton pad moistened with micellar water to correct irregularities.
