First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska congratulated Ukrainian schoolchildren on the new school year. The President's wife recorded a video message not only for students but also for those who have long since completed their studies at school.

"Even adults wake up on this day with childlike anticipation of new things: impressions, acquaintances, emotions. So I congratulate all of us, both former and current students, on the beginning of the new school year, on the fact that our country has once again won it for new generations of children," she said on her official Telegram channel.

Zelenska appeared in front of the camera wearing a milky embroidered shirt made of natural linen and covered with black floral patterns. The model by the Ukrainian brand Gaptuvalnya is a loose-fitting shirt.

The symbols on the embroidered shirt are traditional Rozha embroidery inspired by ancient Ukrainian ornaments. "Rozha (or rose) is a talisman of a person's spiritual roots. We have brought the traditional ornament into the modern age while remaining faithful to the ethnic heritage," explained the brand's representatives. The price of the product is UAH 9,500.

A stand-up collar, which can be tied with thin ribbons, adds an accent to the sophisticated look. However, the first lady did not cover her neck with a collar, instead wearing a minimalist piece of jewelry – a shiny round pendant on a silver chain. The look was complemented by massive earrings.

Zelenska has been seen in such an elegant outfit before. Last year, the president's wife chose a white and black Gaptuvalnya embroidered shirt to celebrate Flag Day.

The first lady fell in love with embroidered shirts from the Ukrainian brand: for example, in the spring of 2024, she wore a delicate white model for Vyshyvanka Day.
