This trend has not spared beauty salons, where clients could come in as one person and leave as a completely different one. And the key to such changes was new, stylish hairstyles.

Already in the '90s, computers and mechanical devices helped hairdressers cut hair. A video popped up on TikTok showing innovations in this field.

One of the most stylish hairstyles of the time was perms. It could be done in record time with a special "smart" hairdryer.

The mechanism was placed over the women's hair, which was previously coated with a chemical composition and curled. With the help of a few instructions from the hairdresser, the computer calculated how intensively and for how long the head could be dried.

Other salons have already started to introduce apps that selected the perfect hairstyle for each client, from short pink boyish haircuts to more layered options.

Fashionistas were also offered to choose from a list of hairstyles that barely reached their shoulders. Lush, voluminous haircuts were a hit at the time.
