They are very frugal. A well-known psychiatrist has named a striking difference between successful people and losers

The brain of a successful person is less active than the brain of a person with a low level of intelligence

Psychiatrist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oleh Chaban claims that the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people can be seen in the work of the brain. Surprisingly, the brain of a successful person is less active than the brain of a person with a low IQ.

Chaban spoke about this on the Yellow Shoes YouTube channel with Yulia Borisko. He added that from the perspective of neuropsychology, "the brain of a successful person is rationally active, it excites only those centers that lead to results." That is, he uses his energy sparingly and purposefully.

"Successful people are very focused and achieve what they want. And the brain of an unsuccessful person literally burns with pointless, chaotic activity," the psychiatrist says.

Oleh Chaban also said that people come to him with the words: "Help me, I'm a failure." However, the doctor emphasizes that a failure is a patient's self-esteem. And as a psychiatrist, he works with pathologies. Therefore, he often sees depressive disorders in such patients.

"I see a person who needs help. But here the doctor can help 50 percent, and the rest is in the hands of the patient. What do you do to be successful? Maybe it's a mental disorder, maybe it's an existential dead end that all people go through at a certain age. Especially middle-aged and older people, when they realize how much life they have left, what they have managed to do, and what they still wanted," said Chaban.

But in this case, people often start looking for answers in new things. Like, I want a new car, a new watch, a house, to go somewhere, and so on. But when they finally achieve this, the emptiness becomes even greater. Because "to objectify is a deep mistake, it is a certain illusion of what has been achieved, because life is still coming to an end."

The psychiatrist emphasizes that people often become unsuccessful because of improper parental upbringing. This is where confidence, lack of confidence, helplessness, or psychological resilience and flexibility come from. There are different parenting styles, but not all of them work well.

"Some people raise their children the way they were raised, and they put a belt on their child because they were beaten. Some people raise their children in the style of educated helplessness. Like, you're a moron, how many times do I have to tell you, you can't do anything on your own without me. Parents program the child, instill in him the belief that he can't do anything without help," the doctor says.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote about the so-called 10-minute rule, which will help to deceive the brain and increase productivity. Its essence lies in the fact that a person persuades himself to do a certain task for exactly the time allotted for that, and then decides whether to continue or not.
