The first semi-final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest 2024 has started in the Swedish city of Malmö. This year's hosts, comedian Petra Mede and Hollywood actress Malin Akerman, originally from Stockholm, took to the stage of the Malmö Arena.
The Swedish celebrities shone under bright flashes in pantsuits made in the colors of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The combination of the northern lights and the harmonious rhythm of sound equalizers created the visual identity of this year's contest.
Petra Mede, who will be appearing as a host for the third time, wore a bright orange outfit: a satin jacket and pants made of the same material.
