Greetings from the 90s. Jelly sandals are back in fashion again

Summer is famous for its hot temperatures, so sometimes it's not always comfortable to wear sneakers and sneakers, because closed shoes in sunny weather are not always a good choice. This season, transparent and maximally open sandals, also known as "jelly" sandals from the 90s, are becoming a trend again. They can be seen at designer shows, in glossy magazines, and on the streets.

According to Marie Claire, the fashion for such sandals returned after The Row Summer 2024 show in Paris. The collection was opened with a model wearing rubber mesh sandals. The peculiarity of these shoes lies in the material of manufacture – PVC rubber: a translucent or opaque substance similar to jelly.

This type of sandal is versatile for everyday life, but wearing it to important meetings or social events will not be the best choice. It won't be difficult to find jelly sandals according to your own preferences, because nowadays there is a wide range of different styles: sandals, ballet flats, heeled and wedge models.
