The colorful French remains a major trend in 2024, says Klass. "Expect bright colors such as purple, lime green, and sunny yellow to dominate summer nail design," she says, "They'll look super cute replacing your classic white French mani.

Jelly nails

This trend is a great alternative to nude. "Jelly nails will be very popular this year," says the nail technician, "The jelly effect, characterized by a translucent jelly-like coating in different colors, will add a playful and modern touch to a summer manicure. Think of a transparent texture with a tint."

Glazed mani

A few years ago, Hailey Bieber popularized chrome powder coatings, a trend that won't die down anytime soon. "Glazed nails are not going anywhere this summer – they are very easy to recreate at home by adding one of the shiny finishes over any polish," explains Klass. Choose neutral pink and white shades or a bold golden one as a top coat.

Pastel ombre

According to Michelle, ombre nails are making a comeback. "Try soft pastel gradients of ombre by combining colors like blue, lavender, and peach for a dreamy and ethereal look, perfect for the summer months," she says. "You can do this by mixing two shades that complement each other or by creating your gradient, starting with the deepest shade and working your way up to the lightest.

Natural

"Sometimes natural shiny nails are the perfect complement to a summer look," the expert shares, "Our nails grow faster in the sun, and to avoid this, choose a natural and short mani for your vacation. Also, don't forget about the cuticle – moisturize it with special products to keep your manicure looking fresh for as long as possible.
