Ukraine's representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, alyona alyona, has revealed what her bright and bold looks on the turquoise walkway and on stage symbolized. Ukrainian and foreign brands worked on their creation.
The artist emphasized that she preferred designers who make conceptual clothes and focus on the individuality of each client. The post appeared on the star's Instagram page.
"My look for the main performance was created by a duo of designers from the LUVI brand. The key messages of our speech were: women's strenght, resilience, and unity. The basis of my costume was a kimono, which combined shiny and matte textures, which gave a good contrast," explained alyona alyona.

The rapper's chainmail, which became an accent element in the image, was made by hand. It weighed 3 kilograms and consisted of 10 thousand metal rings. The image of the singer personified the life of a Ukrainian woman during the war.

"He has layered shoulders to show that a woman's life now is hard, thorny, full of things you don't expect. You are burned, crushed, and pushed. And you have to carry a lot on your shoulders. But you get up and go, pick up a sword and go fight," the artist added.
She also revealed what she was pulling out of her hair before her part of the performance. Some viewers assumed it was a microphone, while in fact the singer was holding a small sword from a Ukrainian brand.
Throughout the competition week, alyona alyona wore stylish Adidas sneakers in Malmö. She has shown this sports brand more than once in her profile.
